Saurav Ganguly Felicitated by Gangarampur Municipality and Cheered by Huge Crowd at the Stadium [VIDEO]

Webdesk, TNI Gangarampur, 15^th July, 2017: In the way to Balurghat for the most talked about inauguration of his full sized statue at Balurghat Stadium (for all wrong reasons), Bengal’s Maharaj or the famous Dada or more specifically former Indian Cricket Captain Saurav Ganguly spent his time at the Buniadpur Circuit House. He came by train to Buniadpur with Padatik Express to Malda and then with a car to Buniadpur. Along with him, there was the Dakkhin Dinajpur Sports Association Secretary Mr. Gautam Goswami, SDO of Gangarampur Mr. Debanjan Roy, Deputy Magistrate Mr. Subrata Majumdar and other high officials.

For Maharaj’s security, there was also the SDPO Mr. Bipul Banerjee and the IC of Banshihari Mr. Biswajit Ghosh. After then Saurav Ganguly went straight to Gangarampur Stadium, where he received a hero’s welcome. He was welcomed by the chairman of Gangarampur Municipality Mr. Prasanta Mitra. Maharaj stayed in the stadium for a brief period and during this period he was felicitated by Gangarampur Municipality under Mr. Mitra. Saurav Ganguly addressed the audience, who were present In large numbers under the boiling Sun just to take a glimpse of the pride of Bengal.
